I have something to say and I need to say it

I don’t know what it is

That's why I need to write

To keep on writing until I find that thing I need to say

Today was bright and spring like

There was a beautiful blue sky

Birdsong filled the estate

They have something to say too

I saw a bumblebee

I saw blossoms on the trees

I saw a handsome man

I wore sunglasses

I felt the warm sunshine

I breathed in the cool air

I didn't walk far

I have a cold

A chesty cough

It’s nearly better now

Maybe that's what I needed to say

It’s nearly better now

And life is good
